Niederrhein 2025 start-up fair: Clear the stage for the best business ideas from the Lower Rhine region

On Thursday, 6 November 2025, the Niederrhein Start-up Fair will open its doors at the Textile Academy NRW (Rheydter Straße 329, 41065 Mönchengladbach). From 3 to 8 p.m., everything will revolve around fresh ideas, innovative start-ups and entrepreneurial courage. The Hochschule Niederrhein (HSNR) start-up counselling service HNX and the Gründungsfabrik Mönchengladbach are jointly organising the fair, which brings together people interested in setting up a business, young companies, experts and investors from the region.

Over 20 start-up teams from the Lower Rhine region will be presenting their projects, products and services in the exhibition area. Many of them come from the HSNR and are accompanied by the HNX team on their way to self-employment. The trade fair also offers a varied programme with pitches, lectures, expert tables and numerous networking opportunities.

One highlight is the start-up pitches, in which teams present their business ideas in two rounds and compete for prize money for the most convincing concept. The keynote speech by Reiner Mantsch, co-founder of the company "eeden" (chemical textile recycling) and graduate of the HSNR, who will report on his practical application as an entrepreneur, also promises inspiration.

The Niederrhein Start-up Fair is aimed at people interested in founding a company, start-ups, students, alumni, companies and anyone interested in the region's innovative strength.
